Why the Lab
Understanding a story is not the same as becoming free to choose within it.
Leaders make consequential decisions inside narratives they rarely examine—about themselves, their organizations, and what is possible. We can recognize a pattern and still repeat it. We can understand where a belief came from and still organize our decisions around it.
The Lab creates time, structure, language, and practice for working with narratives more consciously. You will learn the framework while applying it to something real in your leadership—not as theory detached from your work.
This is not storytelling training, positive thinking, or a mandate to replace every difficult story with an optimistic one. It is leadership development built around the way leaders actually interpret and decide.

Recognition
Make the narrative visible. Practice creating space between a story and the person experiencing it, without rushing to replace or correct it.

SORT
Discernment
Separate observable facts from assumptions, interpretations, inheritance, and projection. Learn to ask what is true—and how you know.

EXPAND
Flexibility
Generate other plausible meanings and perspectives. Build the capacity to stay open without becoming vague, passive, or ungrounded.

CHOOSE
Agency
Locate meaningful choice inside real constraints. Decide which interpretation and response you are willing to stand behind—as a leader and in the decisions in front of you.

LIVE
Enactment + integration
Translate insight into behavior, decisions, relationships, and leadership practice. Build a plan for continuing the work after the Lab.
