Long bio

For profiles and event programs

Paige Williams is the creator of Narrative Intelligence, a practitioner-facing framework for recognizing the narratives that shape perception, discerning what is true from what is assumed, remaining flexible when circumstances change, exercising meaningful agency, and translating choice into action.

She is an applied researcher, strategist, entrepreneur, filmmaker, speaker, and bestselling author. For twelve years, Paige built and led AudPop, a global media technology platform that served more than 80,000 filmmakers and creators and developed an archive of 14,000 short films. That founder experience now informs her work with leaders and organizations navigating consequential decisions, innovation, resistance, rapid change, and reinvention.

Paige is the author of The Twelve Creative Keys and the creator and host of 100 Stories: The Narrative Intelligence Project. Through the project, she speaks with researchers, executives, artists, educators, therapists, social scientists, and storytellers around one central question: How malleable are the stories we live by, and what does it take to change one?

Her clients and audiences have included leaders and organizations such as Microsoft, Nasdaq, ALPS, the Montana Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Montana.

Narrative Intelligence

A concise description for editors and hosts.

Narrative Intelligence is the capacity to recognize the narratives shaping how we perceive and interpret experience, discern what is true from what is assumed, remain flexible when circumstances change, exercise meaningful agency, and translate choice into action.

Paige’s framework organizes the work through five interdependent capacities: SEE / Recognition, SORT / Discernment, EXPAND / Flexibility, CHOOSE / Agency, and LIVE / Enactment. It is not storytelling training, communications consulting, positive thinking, or a mandate to replace every difficult story with an optimistic one.
